The Northville Community Center provides various classes to meet your fitness needs. Please stop by the Community Center for a monthly schedule of fitness classes offered with Northville Parks and Recreation.

Yoga

Indoor Drop in Fitness Schedule
All drop in indoor classes are $7/class; no pre-registration is required

September Drop-In Fitness Calendar

Healthy Hips & Back Yoga with Suzanne (Starting September 12th)
Suitable for all levels. Class focuses on a great sketch from head to toe, improving strength, flexibility, and balance with an emphasis on back, hips, and shoulders. 
Sundays, 10:30am-11:30am at Northville Community Center; $7

Silver Strength & Stretch with Ann
Designed for our active, older exercisers, this class focuses on toning muscles to prevent injury and improve bone density, balance, and overall well-being. 
Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 10:00am-11:00am at Northville Community Center; $7

Yoga Flow with Toulla
Guided practice integrates yoga flow with postures designed to build flexibility, strength, and balance. Suitable for most fitness levels. 
Mondays, 8:30am-9:30am at Northville Community Center; $7

Gentle Flow Yoga with Suzanne - (Starting Indoors October 5th)
Build strength, stamina, flexibility & balance. The gentle flow blends seated and standing postures highlighting the breath & movement to leave you feeling re-energized and uplifted. Emphasize moving from the core, and all levels of fitness are welcome. 
Tuesdays, 8:30am-9:30am at Northville Community Center; $7

Zumba Gold with Sarah
A total body workout, combining cardio dance moves with Latin inspired music that improves your muscle tone, balance, and flexibility. Zumba emphasizes moving to the music and having fun, regardless of your fitness level. 
Tuesdays, 10:0am-11:00am at Northville Community Center; $7

Slow Burn Yoga with Kelly
Slow burn classes integrate breath and movement, inner and outer alignment, strength and flexibility. Slow progressive sequences and longer holding postures encourage the entire body and mind to balance, focus and calm. Class open to all levels. 
Wednesdays, 11:30am-12:30pm at Northville Community Center; $7

Silver Chair Yoga with Suzanne
Gentle poses will improve your balance, strength, flexibility and breath capacity. Class time includes 75% seated and 25% standing stretches. 
Tuesdays (Oct only) & Thursdays (Sept & Oct) 10:00am-11:00am at Northville Community Center, $7

Punch Cards
Please note Northville Senior Fitness Punch Cards will not be sold or accepted until further notice. If you have an outstanding punch card from 2020, refunds are only available until September 1, 2021. 


Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel, alter or make location changes to any class at any time for reasons that may include, but not limited to, scheduling, holidays, participation & instructor safety, space availability, instructor illness, emergency. We are committed to providing our guests with the best customer service possible. We appreciate your flexibility & understanding when these special circumstances arise.

For everyone’s safety, we cannot allow children under the age of 13 to attend Group Fitness classes, even if they are accompanied by an adult. Please arrange childcare in advance of attending fitness classes. Thank you for your cooperation!

Please note that when classes are scheduled back-to-back, each class will end 5 minutes early to accommodate the transition between classes.

What: Entertaining and Challenging Adult Group Fitness classes that will give you the results you want! Enjoy all of the benefits of exercising with friends without the commitment of a gym membership. Discover your favorite way to get into shape, stay fit and have fun while doing it

What else do I need to know? Our elite and knowledgeable staff motivates you while making sure you are performing safe and fun exercises that will get you to your goals. All instructors carry current fitness certification and CPR/AED training Come join the fun, stay motivated and enjoy the best part of exercise - team work! Questions?
