Archery
Northville Parks and Recreation will offer a variety of Archery classes in the fall. Archery 101: Introduction to Archer, Archery 201: Beginner Archery, Archery 22: Continued Archery and Archery 301: Intermediate Archery. Classes are for ages (8+), therefore parents are encouraged to enroll. All equipment provided (archers may bring own bows as long as draw weight is under 30 pounds).

Archery 101: Introduction to Archery
The Introduction to Archery class will cover safety and basic shooting skills. The class is taught by USA Archery certified instructors. All archery equipment is provided. No prior archery experience is required. Those with experience from single-day archery camps should still enroll in Archery 101.

Archery 121: Demystifying Archery
The class demystifies archery for parents who want to understand how to support their young archer but are confused by the complex equipment and obscure practice venues.

Archery 201: Beginner Archery
The Beginner Archery class builds on skills learned in Archery 101 and teaches additional archery skills to improve accuracy. The class is taught by USA Archery certified instructors. All archery equipment is provided. Use of personal equipment is permitted but not required. Completion of Archery 101 or permission of the instructor is required.

Archery 211: Continue Archery
Continue Archery provides archers the opportunity to continue improving skills at his or her own pace. The class is taught by USA Archery certified instructors. Use of personal equipment is encouraged but not required. Completion of Archery 201 or permission of the instructor is required.

Archery 301: Intermediate Archery
Intermediate Archery teaches the USA Archery National Training System in a structured manner. This class is for those who want to adopt archery as a competitive sport. The class is taught by USA Archery Level 2 or higher instructors and is limited to 8 students per class. Use of personal equipment is strongly encouraged but not required. Completion of Archery 201 and at least one session of Archery 211 is required. Permission of the instructor is required otherwise.
